UCLID receives the 2025 Gold Star Lab Award

We are honored to receive the 2025 Gold Star Lab Award from UC’s College of Engineering and Applied Science.

This award reflects the students’ work. Over the past year, lab members have defended PhD and MS theses, published in Applied Thermal Engineering, Colloids and Surfaces A, and Nanoscale and Microscale Thermophysical Engineering, won competitive fellowships, and presented at venues from APS-DFD to NASA’s TFAWS. The same week, Saaras Pakanati was selected for a 2025 Armstrong Fellowship for Discovery. It’s great to see undergraduate researchers recognized alongside our graduate students.

Thank you to everyone in UCLID for making this such a productive and supportive group.
